Training on getting people on board for a fair fashion industry

Challenge

The fashion industry is dirty. Up to 99% of our clothes are made in violent, stressful, and poor labor conditions. But people, policymakers, and company leaders are not taking the required actions to solve this. So how can we get people to show their support and put their money where their mouth is?

Approach

We created a tailored training for the Dutch Clean Clothes Campaign team, that resulted in a checklist with actions to take to design better communication and campaigns. The session ended with a short workshop, in which everyone was asked to choose which advice seems most promising and list the first actions they would take to integrate this into their work.

“This extensive day-long training with Jorn was very helpful for us as an organization to understand and learn about human behavior, and how to adapt this knowledge in our work and campaigns. Jorn really goes all the way in preparing such a training session and is involved, engaged and motivating.”
